DISPENSING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
practitioner commits a criminal offense if he or she unlawfully dispenses a controlled substance. A practitioner is a physician, a dentist, a veterinarian, a pharmacist, or any other person who is permitted to use controlled substances in his or her profession. Dispensing is the transfer or delivery of a controlled substance by a practitioner.

A person who is in lawful possession of real property may use force to protect his or her real property. The person may use force against another person or an intruder if he or she reasonably believes that force is immediately necessary to prevent the other person's trespass on his or her real property. A person who is in lawful possession of tangible personal property may use force against another person in order to prevent the other person's unlawful interference with the personal property.

In some states, a person commits an offense if he or she sells, rents, leases, or lends a handgun to another person with the knowledge that the person intends to use the handgun unlawfully or intends to use the handgun in the commission of an unlawful act. A "handgun" for purposes of this offense is any firearm that is designed, made, or adapted to be fired with one hand, such as a pistol or a revolver.
